Plans, refunds and founding pricing

Annual billing, the 14-day refund and what the founding rate locks in.

Rubric Pro costs $149 a year, billed annually through Stripe and auto-renewing until you cancel. If you take the founding rate, you pay $99 a year and that price is locked for life. Every paid plan is covered by a 14-day, no-questions refund. The Free plan needs no card and audits up to 500 pages.

In short
  • →Rubric Pro is $149 a year, billed annually through Stripe and set to auto-renew.
  • →The founding rate is $99 a year, locked for life once you take it.
  • →Every paid plan has a 14-day, no-questions refund, and cancelling keeps Pro until the period you have paid for ends.

What does Rubric Pro cost?

Rubric Pro is $149 a year. Billing is annual and runs through Stripe, and the plan auto-renews on the same date each year until you cancel. There is no monthly option: one payment covers twelve months. The Free plan stays free, needs no card, and audits up to 500 pages, so you can run a full report before you decide to upgrade.

Pro adds white-label reports, unbranded and agency-branded exports, unlimited sites, priority crawls, and a desktop licence key when the desktop suite ships. Your score, pillars, issues and Action Plan are the same on both plans.

What is included on each plan?

The Free plan gives you the full report: your score, the three pillars, every issue and the phased Action Plan, on audits of up to 500 pages, with no card required. Pro keeps all of that and adds the following:

Pro addsWhat it is
Unlimited pages per crawlThe 500-page cap is lifted; a Pro crawl is bounded only by crawl time
White-label reportsPut a client's name on the report
Unbranded and agency-branded exportsDrop the Rubric marks and show your own logo and name
Unlimited sitesNo cap on how many sites you audit
Priority crawlsYour crawls are queued ahead
Desktop licence keyA key for the desktop suite when it ships

The scoring itself is identical on both plans, so a Free report and a Pro report of the same page return the same number. Pro changes what you can do with the report, not how the page is scored.

What is the founding rate, and is it really for life?

The founding rate is $99 a year, and yes, it is locked for life. Once you take the founding rate, your renewal stays at $99 a year for as long as you keep the subscription active, even after the standard price rises. It is the same Pro plan with the same features, at a lower price that does not change on renewal.

Note
The founding rate is locked only while the subscription stays active. If you cancel and later resubscribe, you rejoin at whatever the current price is, so keep the plan running if you want to hold $99 a year.

How does the 14-day refund work?

Every paid plan is covered by a 14-day, no-questions refund. If you are not happy within 14 days of a payment, you get your money back without having to explain why. To request one, email info@gogochimp.com (a person replies) or see the refund terms at /legal/refund. Refunds apply to the payment; they are separate from cancelling, which stops the next renewal.

What happens when I cancel?

You can cancel any time from Account > Billing. Cancelling stops the auto-renewal; it does not end your access straight away.

01
You keep Pro until the period ends. The subscription you have already paid for runs to its renewal date.
02
Then the account moves to Free. At the renewal date, Pro features switch off and the account continues on the Free plan.
03
Your reports and history stay. Cancelling does not delete anything. Your past reports, watch list and history remain on the account.

If you want to remove your data as well as cancel, that is a separate, permanent action, covered in the related article on deleting your account and data.
