Managing your subscription
You manage your Rubric Pro subscription from Account > Billing, which opens the Stripe billing portal. From there you can update your payment card, download past invoices, see your renewal date, and cancel. Cancelling keeps Pro until the period you have paid for ends, then the account moves to the Free plan.
- →Everything to do with your subscription lives at Account > Billing, which opens the Stripe portal.
- →Use the portal to change your card, download invoices, and check your renewal date.
- →Cancelling stops the next renewal but keeps Pro until the paid period ends; your reports and history stay.
Where do I manage my subscription?
Go to Account > Billing. This opens the Stripe billing portal, where your subscription is held. Rubric uses Stripe for payments, so your card details and invoices live in the portal rather than in Rubric itself, and Rubric never stores your full card number. The portal is where every billing change is made, from updating a card to cancelling.
How do I update my card or download an invoice?
Both are done in the Stripe billing portal from Account > Billing.
How do payments and renewals work?
Rubric Pro is billed annually. One payment covers twelve months, and the plan auto-renews on the same date each year until you cancel. There is no monthly option.
- Renewal date: shown in the Stripe billing portal, so you can always see when the next charge lands.
- Receipts: after each charge you get a receipt by email. Receipts are transactional, so they always send and are not something you can turn off.
- The founding rate: if you took the $99 founding rate, it is locked for life and renews at $99 for as long as the subscription stays active, so keep the plan running to hold that price.
How do I cancel, and what happens to my access?
Cancel from Account > Billing in the same portal. Cancelling stops the auto-renewal; it does not cut your access off immediately.
- Until the renewal date: you keep full Pro access for the period you have already paid for.
- At the renewal date: Pro features switch off and the account continues on the Free plan.
- Your data: reports, history and your watch list are kept. Cancelling never deletes anything.
Will I lose my reports if I downgrade to Free?
No. Moving from Pro to Free does not delete your reports or history. You keep the account and everything in it; the Pro-only features (white-label reports, unbranded exports, unlimited sites and priority crawls) simply stop. Your past reports stay readable, and you can still run new audits within the Free limits. If you later resubscribe, Pro switches back on for the same account. If you want to remove your data entirely, that is the separate, permanent delete-account action, covered in the related article on deleting your account and data.
